The Â鶹ÊÓƵ is one of the world’s greatest conservatoires. True to our founders' intentions, we teach exceptional students from all backgrounds and cultures, encouraging music as an artform, as well as enriching our society and shared experiences.
An important aspect of music is undoubtedly its ability to bring people together, promoting unity rather than division. With a student cohort numbering some 60 nationalities, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ is determined to play its part.
Learning from the past enables us to create an ambitious future. After 140 years, the RCM is still true to its founding principles of access, excellence and advocacy. We believe music can make positive change and transform lives, now more than ever. We remain strong, ready to adapt to the changes necessary to secure the future of music through reinvigoration.
Every autumn the Â鶹ÊÓƵ produces an Annual Review of its activities, successes and finances for the previous academic year.
